ALL OF OUR 2015 BRITTANY PUPS ARE SOLD.

We've been lucky to be able to breed our Brittany, Rita, to a stud out of some of our older bloodlines. The sire, CH Shotgun Roy MH (aka Roy), was whelped by Rick Smith in 2000 and is out of a couple of dogs that Rick was guiding with at the 6666 Ranch. Roy's pedigree reaches back to some old Brittany greats. He is a grandson of FC AFC Blaze and Lobo's Evil Roy and FC AFC Hi Proof Rum Runner. Roy spent his career hunting wild quail in western Oklahoma. He had a short, but succesful stint in the ring and field trials, however his owner's focus was to have a pleasurable hunting companion. Unfortunately, Roy passed away this summer. This is a frozen semen litter.

This litter's dam is Osage Rita Roan (aka Rita). Rita is a female we kept out of our first breeding of Osage and Cash. She is one of the hardest working dogs in our Texas wild bird hunting guide string. Rita's pedigree goes back to outcross dogs such as: NFC FC AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow and Nolan's Last Bullet. She and her full brother, Chief, have proven themselves to be both exceptional dogs in the bird field and companions in the home. 

Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. At that time they will be well socialized, introduced to birds and the field, up to date on vaccinations and worming. They will be availabe for pickup at Ronnie Smith Kennels or we can help arrange for them to be flown to you. All travel related costs will be paid by the buyer.

This litter was born on June 10, 2015. There are 6 females and 2 males. All are white and orange. We will post additional pictures as they grow. We do have females available! Contact if you are interested in having us hold a female pup for you!

Picks will be beginning when the pups are about 6 weeks old.  Until indiviual picks are made each pup will be listed as "Available."

We respect the drive and ambition of all of our bird dogs. For this reason, we do not sell our dogs to homes for pets. We want them to get to enjoy what they have a passion for and that is hunting.
