Brittany Bird Dog Puppies

There is a strong heritage behind our Brittanys. Their lineage is intertwined with our family's story. Delmar Smith started with Brittanys in the 1950s. His notable early dogs were the dynamic champions Towsey, Holiday Britt, and Buddington Prince. Our dogs today can be traced back to those original dogs that Delmar trialed almost 70 years ago.

As the decades have gone by, other great dogs have touched our family's lives and become a part of the lineage of these Brittanys. Some of these dogs include the Hall of Fame members such as Brandy's Bullet, Hi Proof Rum Runner, Holiday Britt, Holiday Britts Bazooka, Paccolet's Cheyenne Sam, Perry's Rustic Prince, Scipio Spinks, and Way Kan Jill.

The more recent generations of our dogs have been exclusively hunted on our guide string in some of the best, but toughest, quail country in Texas. For decades south Texas has been our proving grounds for our Brittanys. Dogs that can perform at a high level in the heat and adverse conditions those hunts provide stand out. This is where our Brittanys such as BB's Got Rhythm and Tall Chief of the Osage proved their worth to us. There are few in the country like them.

We have puppies on the ground out of our own Osage Rita Roan and NAFC/GFC/FC/AFC Spanish Corral's Sonny Patch. This is a first time breeding with this pair and we are excited to see what these dogs do. Rita has been a top hand on our guide string for years and Patch is not only a 4xNAFC, he is also a guide dog for chukar hunts. These two strong wild bird finders should produce some remarkable dogs.
