Gun Dog Training on Wild Texas Quail

October 27, 2014 by

This hunting season we are accepting a group of dogs to travel to Texas with us. These trips are a great opportunity for your dog to gain valuable knowledge hunting exclusively on wild birds. Any dog that has previously been through our Basic Formal Training Class is eligible to go with us. They will gain the experience of being included as a part of our string of guide dogs during our hunts and on the non-guiding days they will have the added benefit of training workouts with Ronnie. Our Wild Bird Training Excursions are the best training experiences that we can offer a trained dog. The travel, the birds, the exposure to the country, and simply the time on the ground all work together to mature young dogs, fine tune, focus, and round out your gun dog's skill set.

We are eager to see how our young dogs perform and grow this season and happy for our old seasoned hands to gain proficiency and focus! We're happy to have your dogs join them in the experience. The dates are fairly flexible. November and December there will be opportunities for your dog in North Texas then January and February will open up opportunities in South Texas. Be sure to talk with us soon to reserve a spot for your dog! Dogs may stay with us for a month or as long as the whole season. And as always, all breeds are welcome!

North Texas:
~$750 per month
~Available from November - December
(check with us for specific dates)
South Texas:
~$750 per month
~Available anytime December 28th - February 15th
