Ronnie Smith Kennels is primarily a bird dog training facility, however, we do raise a few select litters of puppies each year. Typically those litters are breeds such as English Pointer, German Shorthair Pointer, Labrador Retriever or Brittany Spaniel.

If there are not any puppies on the ground that fit your requirements, we can refer you to quality breeders in which Ronnie places great faith. Our kennel also offers a variety of breeds of trained dogs for sale. If we do not have what you need we will do our best to source a dog that fits your needs through our network of qualified trainers.

		Puppies Well socialized puppies raised here at the Kennels who are over 8 weeks of age.	$600 each
		Started Puppies These are dogs that have been through a lengthy Puppy Development, with lots of bird exposure and introduction to the gun. These puppies are ready for formal training.	$1,000 and up
		Broke Dogs Broke dogs have completed the 90 day training program. They will point, honor another dog's point, and have work on their natural retrieve.	$2,500 and up
SOLD		Lucky Liver roan German Shorthair Pointer female born December 5, 2007. Lucky is steady to wing and releases on the shot. She is an excellent bird finder. She has a lot of experience for a young dog. Lucky has been worked in Canada on wild sharptails and huns. She also was used on professionally guided hunts on wild bobwhite quail last year. Lucky has been hunted on foot, off of a Polaris Ranger, vehicles, and horseback. She goes to objectives and hunts smart. She will heel off lead. Lucky is also housebroken. She's a high energy dog in the kennel, but does great in the yard.	Sold
		Puddin’ Dark liver roan German Shorthair Pointer female born October 8, 2006. Puddin' is a good hunter and family dog. She stands steady to wing and releases on the shot and does a good job on singles. Puddin' is a good natural retriever. She has hunted wild pheasant, sharptails, huns and bobwhite quail. Puddin' has been hunted on foot, off of a Polaris Ranger, vehicles, and horseback. We consider her a short to medium ranging dog. She is easy to handle, both in the field and home. 		Finished Bird Dogs For Hunting A finished dog has extensive wild bird hunting experience, is steady to wing, shot, and dead fall. This dog is also trained to retrieve.	Starting at $4,500
SOLD		Sweetie Orange and white English Pointer female (spayed) born April 15, 2005. Sweetie stands steady to wing and shot and is trained to retrieve. She has been used for 3 years on professionally guided quail hunts. Sweetie heels off lead. She is a good natured easy going dog. If she is kept in a kennel, it needs to be one with a top, as Sweetie is very athletic and can jump out. Sweetie's pedigree goes back to Crow's Little Joe, Elhew Damascus and Elhew Kiwi.	Sold
